Utah, The Worship State

Updated: May 30, 2020

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24 ESV)

We believe Utah is called to be a worship state. To fulfill this calling, our affection and attention is fixed upon the LORD God. It is all about HIM; the One true living God. We are to seek Him, to glorify Him, and to love Him. In studying, singing and praying His Word, Utah is being transformed into a state of worship.

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. (Matthew 22:37 ESV)
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. (Psalm 29:2 ESV)
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, But to Your name give glory Because of Your loving kindness, because of Your truth. (Psalm 115 NKJV)
The one thing I want from God, the thing I seek most of all, is the privilege of meditating in his Temple, living in his presence every day of my life, delighting in his incomparable perfections and glory. (Psalm 27:4 TLB)
Lord, when you said to me, “Seek my face,” my inner being responded, “I’m seeking your face with all my heart.” (Psalm 27:8 TPT)
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. (Colossians 3:16 NKJV)
