Born and raised in Southern California, Scott Bertoni got saved at Calvary Chapel Church in Costa Mesa, CA, while listening to Greg Laurie (www.harvest.org) preach on a Monday night.  Several years later, during his final year of Bible College (www.sebc.edu), he helped plant an ARC Church in Birmingham, Alabama, with Pastor Chris Hodges (www.churchofthehighlands.com).  Soon after COTH was up and running, the Lord sent Scott and his wife Erin to Sacramento, CA. where they spent 7 years as Pastor/Evangelists  under the mentorship of Dr. Howard Morgan (www.howardmorganministries.org), John Ornguze (www.bodyofchristinternational.org), Joni Ames (www.joniames.com), Danny Steyne (www.themountain.org), Dr. Tom Dooley (www.pathclearer.com), and Rick Martinez (www.Capitalcitychurch.net).

In May of 2008, the Lord told Scott to begin pulling back from the busyness of their ministry in Sacramento, and to prepare his family for a new assignment.   Four months later his 5 year old daughter had a dream that she conveyed to both Scott and Erin: “It was the end of the summer, and we were all riding horses to Utah, and my horse’s name was Rain, and we were riding to where the eagles gather.”  A week later Scott and Erin packed up their 3 children and took a trip out to Utah to follow what the dream said……1 month later they moved to Utah.  By January 2009, the journey to establish 24/7 Prayer in Utah had begun!

• A sinner saved by grace, after following my own selfish and stubborn heart 46 years. At a time of success in the natural came recognition of my spiritual poverty and surrender to Lordship of Jesus.
• A student of His Word, teachable and eager to continue exploring the depths of wisdom and treasures of truth.
• A growing disciple, being transformed by renewal of my mind…Seeking more understanding and more of Him in the fertile ground of  intimacy, and worship.
• An ambassador for Christ, appointed to proclaim the good news, to set captives free. Ministering to people inside county jail since 1999.
• Striving to be an overcomer by the strength of Him who overcame the world. To become all He calls me to be.
• A practicing Intercessor and member of RHOP leadership team. Bringing experience from careers as a Naval officer and international business.
• A husband to Martha for 38 years and counting, father to son Jeff and his wife Amy, grandpa to  their children Miles and Iris.
